A large and heavy 8-1/2" Georgian Dublin sterling silver dinner fork, hallmarked for 1829. This heavy fork has an attractive double dolphin crest on the back of the handle and has the maker's mark for Matthew West and Peter Moore. Antique Irish silver is far scarcer than English, and this fork is a great find. This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, bends, monograms, wear, scratches, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some very light scoring on the extreme bottom ends of the tines from use. Otherwise this fork is in unusually excellent condition. Please note that our photos are taken before these items are polished to enhance detail; they will appear better than our scans and will be shipped to you cleaned and polished. A Victorian period 15k yellow gold, enamel & natural pearl large Victorian mourning pin c1860 with an insert with hair. This (unmarked but tested and guaranteed) 15K yellow gold brooch consists of a raised fancy scrollwork front with black enamel, a circle of high quality and lustre natural pearls surrounding a central crystal enclosed compartment with a swirl of medium-brown hair, and a polished mother of pearl backing under the nicely arranged lock of hair. An unusual late Georgian period rolled gold plate mourning frame with a plaited hair insert and daguerrotype of a gentleman. This is a large engine turned oval frame c1820-40, with an oval glass insert section on the back, containing a lock of plaited and waxed hair. The front of the frame contains a large Daguerrotype (negative/positive image on polished silver) of a gentleman that is slightly more recent than the frame, dating to around 1850s-1860, by his style of clothing. The workmanship on this 2-5/8" x 2-1/8" ornate frame (measurement doesn't include hanging loop) is superb, both in execution and in detail. The hair insert is original, with its original glass and bezel and the daguerrotype itself is in good condition with some haloing on the edges and minor spotting on the man's cheek. This attractive frame has ornate deeply carved engraving around the frame edge and around the back hair insert section. It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or damage other than a recent repair to the suspension loop which was broken off and reattached, and there is some minor wear on the back of the frame. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $23 (other spots may vary, air is higher) - tracking and insurance is included in shipping quotes. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT accept PayPal, only VISA and MASTERCARD.

The pin is a c-clasp and the pearl setting is mounted with a hand cut nut and bolt; the pin weighs an impressive 14.4 grams (1/2 ounce) of 14k gold; it is not marked but has been tested and is guaranteed to be 14K. $695.00
A superb quality late Victorian period 14K sunburst brooch c1895-1900. This 14k yellow gold large sunburst convertible pendant brooch measures 1-1/4" in diameter, and has 40 lovely graduated natural pearls mounted on curved rays of the sun shaped brooch interspersed with large pearls on gold stalks. The pearls measure from 2.5mm - 3mm, and the pearls on stalks measure 3mm each. All pearls are of excellent creamy white lustre and they are superbly matched. The pin itself has a pin with c-clasp, which can be unscrewed and completely removed with a threaded finger screw in the shape of the number 8. There is a swing-up loop (in 10K yellow gold) separately attached to allow the pin to be worn as a pendant, or to be mounted on a hatpin or pinned into the hair for evening wear. There is a 22 point round European cut genuine diamond (SI-1 clarity, G-H colour), bezel set in the center. The craftsmanship is simply superb, this pin is of the highest quality. Convertible pins were usually only sold in quite high-end jewellery shops. Intact convertible pins are seldom encountered, and this example is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, dents, alterations, losses, repairs or damage other than a tiny bit of bending to the tip of the pin. It comes with an older independent gemmologist's appraisal, with a value of $1700 CAD. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $29 (other spots may vary, air is higher) - tracking and insurance is included in shipping quotes. The colour is a pale pastel blue/grey with subtle translucence, and this pair is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage other than the loss of one moonstone jewel and some minor losses to the gold on the upper edges. A rare English Prattware commemorative cream or milk jug c1798-1806, which we believe was issued to commemorate either the Battle of the Nile (a significant English military battle of 1798) or the battle of Trafalgar (1805), a most significant English military battle still commemorated today in England on Trafalgar Day. This 5-3/8" tall jug has stylized portraits of Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson and Captain Edward Berry with orange, brown, cobalt and green glazes on the high-relief modelling. Prattware is not often found in perfect condition, and this piece is not, either. This jug is unrestored except for a primitive and early reattachment of the bottom of the handle. There is some interior browning and staining, some overall crazing and some exterior browning on the spout. The bottom of the handle is missing and the bottom third has been crudely cemented in place. This jug is well worth having professionally restored, and it is a seldom seen English historic commemorative. It is in fair unrestored condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage other than stated above. Shipping is $12 to the US, insured is higher. We ship internationally, and all prices are in $US. Please note that we do not accept Paypal.

$295.00
An unusual and ornate Art Nouveau - late Victorian watch fob and seal c1900. This unmonogrammed seal fob measures 5/8" x 7/16" and stands 7/8" tall, it weighs 5.1 grams of 14k rose gold (partial mark, tested), and it has unusual openwork wire construction with hearts. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, cracks, losses or damage. There are two fine scratches on the unmonogrammed seal area and there are two solder repairs on the suspending loop, which may have been replaced for wear as a pendant, and the green in the picture is some (now cleaned) dirt. Tracked surface shipping starts at $23 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insurance and tracking included in shipping quotes. Items paid by credit card shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT accept Paypal.

An elegant Art Deco vintage Industrial design rhodium plated rhinestone bracelet c1920s. This 7" x 3/8" bracelet is set with closed back white rhinestones; it has a snap catch and a safety chain, and this unmarked beauty is in excellent condition with losses, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some minor typical greying/dulling of some of the rhinestones. The Deco period rhinestones of this type are not as bright as 1950s rhinestones in these pieces - interestingly enough, they look better when out in the evening, a more subdued sparkle like antique diamonds, as usually at the time, these were jewels to wear out in the evening. Small packet air post shipping starts at $9.40 (to the US - other spots may vary) tracked is higher. Expresspost-air post and Fedex are available for faster shipping options - please email with your zip code or postal code for the rates. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.
