A simply splendid, high quality English Georgian large footed master open salt dish, fully hallmarked for London 1817. This 3-5/8" diameter and 1-7/8" high bowl has fine high relief and rather unusual rim decoration of a lion head alternating with a shell, surrounded by flowers, with ornate floral feet. It retains the original gilding on the bowl as well. It is stamped with the maker's mark for William Eaton of London and it weighs an impressive 162.6 grams. It has a small lion rampant family crest engraving on one shoulder (not shown). One of the most unusual Georgian silver open salts we have seen. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A retro and vintage 1960s large opal cocktail or dinner ring with nice tooling and brushed sides. This 10k yellow gold size 9 ring features a large 7/16 x 5/16" claw set natural opal surrounded by six tooled flowers with claw-set opals at their centers. It also has a brushed style finish on the shoulders and it measures 3/4 x 11/16" across the top. Each opal has brilliant blue and green fire with orange interior colour and nice transparency. It is stamped 10K, it weighs 6.8 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A very early Empire period hand carved shell portrait cameo in an unmarked but tested 15k yellow gold setting c1820. This 2 x 1-3/4" pin features lovely tooling with a pierced gallery, and a twist border with applied textured flowers and leaves. The cameo itself is one of the most attractively carved we have seen- simply stunning in detail and she is wearing an Empire headdress. This brooch has the original c-clasp and a loop for wear as a pendant. It weighs 10.9 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of two leaves on the border decoration. A large and elegant European silver goblet of modern design by Wilhelm Binder of Schwabisch Gmund (Germany), established in 1869. This goblet apparently dates c1900-10. It measures 8-3/4" (24cm) in height, and measures 4-1/4" (just under 11 cm) across the rim. It weighs approximately 227 grams. It is stamped with the German post-1886 crescent moon and crown mark, 835 WTB and has a company number of 73123 and a small punch mark we could not make out. It has not been monogrammed or inscribed, and it is in excellent condition, with no dents, breaks, corrosion, repairs or damage. A simply wonderful and decorative pair of Czechoslovakian porcelain 9-1/2" cabinet plates c1920s. Each has an orange and yellow multicolour angular border outside a lush cobalt blue inner rim with gold decoration. The portrait inner has gold decoration around the perimeter and highly detailed and colourful transfer portraits of jewel bedecked young ladies. Each bears the D&F CZECHOSLOVAKIA mark of EPIAG PROESCHOLD & CO. and one plate has a 10661Y design number. Each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some tiny scrapes to the brown ground on the ethnic young woman's portrait.
