The porcelain dial has black markers, a single-sunk seconds dial and blued hands. It is marked with the retailer's name A.M. GILPIN with the town name DUNNVILLE, ONT. (Canada), a small town near Hamilton. The superbly decorated hunter case is stamped 184521 SOVEREIGN GOLD FILLED with the E in a maple leaf mark for Ellis. A Victorian 5-1/4 x 1" brass and cut French Jet (black glass) watch fob with swivel, complete with a later commemorative oval 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" pressed steel medallion depicting Lord Kitchener. An unusual antique 9K gold signet ring with a photo locket top. This size 8-1/2 ring features a 5/8" x 1/2" top fashioned from an actual Victorian hinged photo locket which has been soldered shut and engraved with an ornate Gothic GWS monogram. It has Birmingham, England hallmarks with a P year letter in the style of that for 1864, however there is no Queen's head (the 1914 year letter P is similar, however, the cartouche shapes are different). This ring bears an inscription on the interior under the top section of WITH FONDEST LOVE LIZZIE.
