A well-made and finely detailed Scottish agates sterling silver banded agate sword pin c1911. This handsome dirk pin features finely banded agate cased in a hand-engraved "sheath"; the hilt of the knife features a cabochon agate stone. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1911-12, and it has the maker's or retailers mark for Adie & Lovekin. Many of these pins were made in Scotland and hallmarked in Birmingham, although some were made there as well. This 2-3/4" pin weighs 6.0 grams, it has a c-clasp, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All
