| A well-painted and colourful oil painting on board by Frank E. Cavell (Canada, 1909-80, AOCA (Associate of the Ontario College of Art)). The scene is titled (on the gallery label on the back) "Routley's Mill Bruce County", it has an image size of 19-1/2 x 15-1/2". It is signed on the bottom/lower left. It is in a vintage 1950s gilt wood and gesso 26" x 22" frame. The colours are bright and vibrant, and this painting by a listed Canadian artist is in clean excellent condition with no damage, fading, tears, cracks, soiling, or other damage, except for a crack in the frame's gesso in the top central medallion. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
