| A fine matching four piece silver plated tea set on the matching two handled tray c1890s, made by the Toronto Silver Company of Toronto (1882-1914). This set has a satin finish, fine hand engraving and tooling with a high relief design which stands proud from the surface. The teapot is 8" tall with the finial, and it has the matching cream jug, sugar bowl and spoon holder. Each piece has a 475 pattern number except the 16-1/4 x 11-1/4" which is stamped 14 and 1377. This set is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than an area of wear to the plating on the tray's central cartouche. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
