A scarce survivor. This is an English ironstone teapot in the Isola Bella blue and white transfer pattern, made c1850 by Adams. This teapot measures 10-1/2" from spout to handle and it stands 7-3/4" tall. It has the Adams mark in use from 1819-64, and this table accessory is in very good condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a hairline crack at the handle, some staining to the finial and some minor chipping to the inside rim under the lid. It has the expected frit and irregularities from the making in a piece this old. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $29 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
