An attractive Victorian period 15K yellow gold genuine rubies and pearls ring circa 1880s. This dainty antique size 4-1/2 or size 4.5 ring features fine sculpting and a beaded edge, two 5 point by gauge genuine rubies and three genuine half pearls gem stones.
This lovely antique ring has a B&H maker's mark and the remnants of quite worn English hallmarks and it tests as 15 K. It has a brilliant intense yellow gold Roman or matte finish, which was popular at the time, as it gave the ring the appearance of 22K gold. The rubies appear a little washed out in the pictures, they are a deeper red in real life. It weighs 2.5 grams, and it is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use as would be expected. Silver and silver plated items are hand-polished, not buffed, and our halogens and magnified images may exaggerate otherwise barely noticeable scratches and flaws.
GUARANTEE: ALL of our items are antique or vintage and from the period listed. NONE are reproductions or recreations.
