| A decorative three piece English china sauce dish with lid and underplate, made by Copeland Late Spode in the pattern number 2 5114, c.1891. It measures 7-7/8" from handle to handle, the underplate measures 6-1/2" x 5" and it stands 5" tall. It has green, red and orange overpainting and the backstamp for A.T. Willey & Co. Ltd. Montreal, and this colourway is probably exclusive to this retailer. It has the blue and brown Spode backstamps and an underglaze crowned COPELAND with an underglaze 80S stamp. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing on the underplate and some losses to the orange overpainting on the bowl. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $12 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
