| A 1770 leather-bound copy of "The World Volume The First A New Edition" by Adam Fitz-Adam (a pseudonym of Edward Moore (1712-57). This 7" x 4-1/4" book has 358 pages and an embossed gold-trimmed leather-bound hard cover. It was printed by Alexander Donaldson, and it is in very good condition with the following: a split at the binding on the dedication page and end page, loss of 1/6 of the spine leather, minor bruising and wear at corners and on spine, minor sporadic spotting mostly on the edges of the paper, original crease on last 4 leaves. No folds, tears, or losses to pages, two early inked names. A nice survivor in very good condition. We also have volume 3 available. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $7.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. | |||||||||||
