| A scarce 1770 leather-bound copy of "The World Volume The Third A New Edition" by Adam Fitz-adam (a pseudonym of Edward Moore (1712-57). This 7" x 4-1/4" book has 360 pages plus an extensive index and an embossed gold-trimmed leather-bound hard cover. It was printed by Alexander Donaldson, and it is in very good condition with the following: loss of 3/4" of the spine leather, minor bruising and wear at corners and moderate spine wear, minor sporadic spotting mostly on the edges of the paper. No folds, tears, or losses to pages, two early inked names, tight and intact binding. A nice survivor in very good condition. We also have volume 1 available. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $7.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
