| An unusual accessory for your cow horn living room suite - this is a late 19th century 8-1/4" pipe or cigar rest and ashtray made of genuine cowhorn. This item features a cowhorn base held with a nut and bolt, and a brass rest for a pipe or cigar. Dating to the 1880s, this unusual smoking collectible is in very good original condition with no cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a crack from use and drying in the "bowl", some minor downward bending to the (formerly curved) rest and some looseness at the bolt. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $7.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
