WATERMAN'S NURSE'S SET in CASE with THERMOMETER
A sought-after Canadian Waterman's Nurse's pearlized lucite fountain pen and matching thermometer case in their original leather pouch made c1941-48. This set consists of the 4-3/4" lever-filled fountain pen with the short pocket clip and a Waterman's IDEAL 14 KT FIRM gold nib and double band trim, the 4-3/4" red-dot thermometer case, the original EMER S711 MADE IN CANADA mercury thermometer, and the original white leather case stamped WATERMAN'S in gold. The pouch is wide enough to hold the pencil also (we do not have the pencil). This item is in fair to good original condition with no damage or repairs other than the following: the case has some minor soiling on the front and a residue of sorts on the back (we haven't attempted to remove it), the lever is functional but a bit stiff (we don't know the condition of the sac) and the bulb end of the thermometer has broken away (it had lost its mercury long ago). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. NOTE: we do not accept PayPal.
