| A stylish Art Deco design 9" tall (including frog) English satin glass vase in amber. The elegant Grantham pattern vase was designed by Alexander Hardie Williamson, and was made by Bagley from 1934-75. The frog or flower-stem holder sits on the interior of the top of the vase on four interior supports. This item is in excellent original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than some minor corner flakes on the bottom rim of the frog, minor flakes at the extreme edges of two corners on the vase and a couple of shallow, internal stress cracks from the manufacture of the vase just above the base (near the surface of the glass and not through the walls, these are not uncommon with Grantham vases, and we believe they are original to the manufacture of the vase). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $16 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
