An unusual 5" long and 3-1/4" high c1900 (unmarked but almost certainly) German porcelain pincushion in the form of a dog sitting beside a lace-up heeled shoe. It is unmarked and it in excellent condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs. It does have some roughness and discolouration at the dog's foot and a firing crack as well - these were tourist items and factory flaws were common. All

This mirror has an unmonogrammed shield; the marks are usually found near the base of the mirror at the handle, which in this case appears to have been shortened, obscuring the hallmarks (it was tested, and it is sterling).
