A mid-Victorian fancy engraved rolled gold plate 1-3/4 x 1-1/8" cross with an applied belt buckle containing black enamel highlights. The colour is slightly rose gold in appearance, and this 1870s pendant is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of wear to the extreme edges on the back and some minor roughness to the enamel. A fabulous vintage studio sculptural pewter necklace by the Canadian modernist jeweller Robert Larin c1960-72. The chain part of the necklace is also in cast sculptural sections, and you seldom see these complete Larin sculptural necklaces - pendants with simple chains are much more usually found, the more ornate examples with the integrated chain were more expensive and produced in lesser quantities. Signed ROBERT LARIN in script, the chain segments of the necklace are 2-1/8" long by 3/8" wide, and the necklace section alone measures is 21-1/2" long , and the abstract pendant section measures 3-1/4" x 1-5/8" - it is not removeable, the sections are all permanently attached. Robert Larin pieces were produced in pewter, were hand finished and them usually plated in silver (sometimes with gold). It has a spring-ring catch. A great necklace. It is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A lovely, well-constructed Art Deco vintage French brass and bakelite or galalith seahorse bracelet c1930s. This 7" x 1" bracelet features 5 curved segments with ornate brasswork and thick screw-mounted royal blue galalith or bakelite panels with applied brass seahorses. It has a box clasp, it is stamped MADE IN FRANCE with a possible (somewhat illegible) registration mark on the underside of the box clasp. I have owned pieces of this design in black or red or cinnabar colour, but never the blue colour before.
