A thick and vintage hand carved green Bakelite bangle c1920s-30s. This bracelet measures 2-11/16" across the interior, 7/8" wide and 1/4" thick. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. There is some surface grime in the carved sections. An unusual Art Deco vintage 2-5/8" across the red/brown celluloid bangle bracelet c1920-30, with flashy pink rhinestones. The original colour of this bangle would have been deep pink, but vintage celluloid and bakelite do deepen in colour over the years, so the colour is now a deep pink-brown colour. This bangle measures 3/16" wide and 3/16" thick, and the interior wall to wall measurement is 2-9/16" across. It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other the darkening of three pink stones. Please note that the celluloid is a deeper pink/brown than in our light pictures, not red. This 2-3/4 x 1-1/4" frond-shaped brooch features flashy rhinestones set into a carved and painted pale yellow mottled bakelite base. It has black painted leaves, white painted highlights and ribs and green and white dots. A funky vintage reverse painted carved lucite pin in the form of a flying bird 1930s-40. This 2-1/8" x 2" brooch has teal blue and orange wings with frosted carved feather highlights and a white and black eye; it has a simple steel c-clasp and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of surface corrosion on the pin. A scarce deep navy blue bakelite two piece brass mounted leaf-form belt buckle c1930s. This buckle consists of two 1-7/8" x 1-5/8" dark blue bakelite segments, both deeply carved with a star and wavy border. Navy blue bakelite is possibly one of the least commonly seen colours in single coloured period bakelite items.
