A fine late Victorian size 2-3/4 turquoise cabochons and diamonds ring c1890-1900. This ring measures 3/4 x 1/4" across the top and it is in 12k (unmarked but tested) yellow gold. It has a stylized X mark, and the five diamonds range from 2 to 4 points in size by gauge. It is probable these 1920s cut diamonds are a later replacement for the original pearls, which frequently were worn or damaged in pieces this age. A vintage late Victorian/early Edwardian period gentleman's 10k yellow gold ring (just a faint tinge of rose gold tone), featuring a bevelled genuine sardonyx claw-set stone. This size 6 ring measures 3/8" across the stone, it weighs 4.0 grams, and it is stamped 10K and A.C.K. CO. It has BESSIE AUG. 20/1902 inscribed on the interior of the shank. The claws quite unusually end before the surface of the ring so not to impede the look of the stone - possibly this is why the stone has such unusual bevelling. A vintage late Victorian period ring in 10k yellow gold, featuring synthetic sapphires and genuine seed pearls c1890. The sapphires are a nice navy blue, and are round antique cut - good quality matched genuine sapphires were expensive and often difficult to obtain in the 1890s, so good quality synthetics were often seen - these stones are original to the making of the ring, not replacements. The top of the ring measures 1/2" across, it weighs 2.3 grams, and it is stamped 10K with an arrow maker's mark. It is a size 4. The sapphires are properly colour matched and in good condition - the halogens threw off the colour of one in the pictures. This item is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note that a couple of the seed pearls are darker in colour.
