A vintage Art Nouveau sterling size 5-3/4 ring c1900-20. This 3/4" across ring is in the form a flower with finely formed petals and small flowers on the double wire shank; it is stamped STERLING, it weighs 6.1 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A nicely made Scandinavian 1-1/4" diameter filigree .835 silver pendant c1900-20 with a slightly later 18-1/2" sterling chain with a spring-ring catch. This pendant is stamped S 835 B, it has a fancy bale or loop for a chain, and it weighs 5.8 grams in total. This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A large, lavish Art Nouveau design sterling and enamel Canadian military sweetheart pin c1900-20. This 2-1/2" x 1-7/16" pin features subtle and lovely lavender enamel flowers and borders, and it is on a textured sterling ground. There is a soldered shield with a central maple leaf applied to the pin, and it has blackened borders around the details - I believe it is a World War One or a Boer War period sweetheart or wives brooch. It closes with a c-clasp, and it is stamped STERLING with the DJ and Castle maker's mark. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, repairs or damage. There is a spot on the upper part of the brooch where the enamel looks unfinished, but it is only that there is a bit too much silver there (original to the manufacture of the piece). Art Nouveau vintage sterling and enamel lingerie or baby pin c1900-10. This small pin makes up for its size in quality and appeal, and consists of baisse taille enamel in pale, subtle hues of white and mauve. The mauve colour is very pale and adds a pleasant contrast to the white background. This pin measures 1" x 1/4" and is stamped STERLING 925 and bears the marks for Roden Brothers of Toronto, who were bought out later by Birks. This pin is in excellent condition, with no cracks, wear, repairs or major damage. There are a couple of spots visible in the picture; the one at the top is a hollow in the edge of the silver below the surface of the pin and doesn't affect the enamel. The other appears to be a black pinhole at the bottom of a tiny shell chip but we are not sure if this is a manufacturing flaw or actual damage. A most attractive vintage sterling silver Art Nouveau period brooch c1900. A flowing haired fin-du-siecle beauty, staring wistfully off, with a large poppy (a symbol of forgetfulness) beside her. It is a large brooch, measuring 2 7/16" x 2 1/4". Sterling front and back, and it is very slightly curved, as they sometimes were, to sit better on the body. It is stamped Sterling only, but is clearly a fine quality example. Original nickle pin and c-clasp, and excellent condition - no damage or repairs.
