A vintage Edwardian 2-3/4 x 5/8" sterling silver tie bar with a central butterfly wing decoration under glass. This pin is stamped ENGLAND on the back and it tests as sterling silver. It comes in the original satin and velvet fitted Ellis Bros. box from Toronto (later bought out by Birks). The brown gold-stamped box has one scrape on the top, and this man's fashion accessory weighs 5.3 grams. An Edwardian 1-1/2 x 1-3/16" sterling silver brooch with a green claw-set banded agate stone. The agate has been carved with a grooved edge, possibly for use in a different style of setting at the time before being inserted into this one. This pin is stamped STERLING with an obscured maker's mark, it has a gate-latch clasp, and it weighs 13.3 grams.
