A heavy, hand made and engraved 19th century Dutch sterling large silver belt buckle, fully hallmarked c1864. This 2-7/8" x 2-1/4" hand made buckle weighs 1.25 ounces, and it has an AT over 64 maker's mark, the lion passant silver purity mark, Minerva head mark, and the letter mark for 1864. This item has an overall measurement of 2-15/16" x 2-3/16", and it has an inner or belt measurement of 2" x 1-3/8". It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, scrapes, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Victorian Scottish silver agate brooch c1880s. This sterling pin is unmarked but tests as sterling; it is most likely of Scottish origin (English pins were usually hallmarked). It measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/8" and it has demilune shaped grey and white banded agate stones with a central silver thistle. It has a c-clasp, and it is in very good original condition with no cracks, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the replacement of one of the stones with what looks like milk glass (some chips to this one). All stones are hand cut and have the expected irregularities. A vintage Victorian piece of sterling silver sporting jewellery, in the form of a Good Luck horseshoe pin c1880s. This 1" x 1-1/8" pin closes with a c-clasp and it is of hollow construction; it has a finely detailed relief design on the front. It is unmarked, not uncommon on Victorian pieces of this period, but it tests as silver. A vintage Victorian period sterling silver knife-edge bar pin c1880, featuring a large cabochon natural opal. This 1-7/16" long pin has a central 3/8" x 1/4" high domed cabochon natural opal set in a floreate sterling setting; it has great translucency with lots of depth and intense orange/red and green/blue fire (much more intense than in our pictures). It is not marked but tests as sterling silver, and it has the original c-clasp.
