An attractive and large 3-5/8" sterling silver pancake makeup compact with mirror fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1932-3. This compact has an engine turned design on both sides with a monogram area on one side (never monogrammed); it has an S.B.& S.Ld. maker's mark, it has a retaining ring for the powder and it weighs 110 grams. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a shallow, barely noticeable dent on the monogram area. All

A vintage 1927 sterling silver award watch fob pendant on the original red, white and blue silk ribbon pin. This 1-3/8 x 1-1/8" singing music award has high relief music symbols on the front and the engraved dedication on the back; it says E.Y.M.C. 1927 SOPRANO SOLO 1ST PRIZE WON BY PAULINE NICHOLLS. It has the maker's mark BAILEY RD. 26 STERLING, the pin is a brass safety pin, and it weighs 10.5 grams. This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs and the ribbon is intact and unsoiled. We haven't polished the medal as it appears to have been originally plated, and the ribbon has some folds. All

A vintage 1950s Japan porcelain head vase complete with a lustre finish, hand painting and the original jewellery. This 6" tall example retains the faux pearl necklace and earrings and also the eyelashes, which were easily broken. The hat and dress have a nice luster finish and the hand is away from the neck. It is stamped JAPAN 2568, and this example is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some fine overall crazing. A vintage 1940s-50s Guinness beer advertising standup sign. This 12-1/8 x 6-1/8" sign has orange, yellow and black on screened and coated cardboard which is wrapped around steel. It bears the Gaelic legend "DO NA H-UILE" which roughly translates to "Open to all". It is signed 565 SANDERS PHILLIPS & CO., LONDON, S.W.9 on the back; it has a folding support leg on the back. This item is in excellent original condition with no cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few spots and some slight abrasions to the plastic coating, a 1/16" hole through to the steel plate on the lower right corner, some minor surface corrosion to the steel on the back and a layer separation to the lower part of the cardboard stand, which has some later masking tape reinforcement. This tape can be removed and the cardboard can easily be reglued. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
