A scarce 2-1/8" x 1-3/8" cardboard matchbox from Canadian National Railways. This red, black and white Eddy match box features French on one side and English on the other; it is intact with bright graphics and the original inner tray. We were told it dates to c1950. I have never run across one before. It is in very good original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of bumping to the edges and strike wear to the emery strips. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $5.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
