A heavy Mexican sterling silver 6-1/4 wine goblet, produced by Luella, a Mexico City silver firm. This goblet has a maker's mark plus PLATA STERLING 925 HECHO EN MEXICO and it has a bell or eagle mark used from the 1940s to the mid 1970s. It weighs 222 grams (7.14 troy ounces), and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small shallow 1/4" dent or gouge near the base. All

A nice pair of 3-1/8" tall and 3-1/2" diameter Birks sterling silver candlesticks. They are stamped 76/26 on the bottom and BIRKS STERLING on the bottom rim, and they are weighted with a sealed base. This pair is in excellent vintage condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small 1/16" dent on the upper interior rim on one stick (just visible in the first image) and a dent to the bottom plate on the other (not visible when displayed). This goblet features hand-engraved floral designs, and it has pre-1940 Egyptian silver marks (for 900 silver, English U date letter) as well as a Farsi symbol for 90 per cent silver and a maker's mark, which we think may be Turkish. The Egyptian hallmarks were/are required in Egypt for silver articles that are to be sold or re-sold within Egypt, even if not produced there.
