A nice pair of vintage c1900-20 copper patinated cast iron bookends in the form of Indian elephants. Measuring 5" long and standing 4" tall, these unsigned library or shelf decorations are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some slight surface rusting on the base of one and some minor casting flaws on the other (each has a few small paint flecks). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $16 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. A nice pair of brass-patinated cast iron bookends c1910-20. This 4-3/4" across and 4-1/2" tall unsigned pair features a kissing Oriental couple in high relief with excellent original brass patination; they are in excellent condition with no cracks, losses, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage.
