A vintage c1900 Essex crystal flower basket brooch in a gilt brass setting. This unsigned pin features fine colouring and gilding and it has the original c-clasp. Essex crystals were a Victorian period fancy, with the crystal being reverse carved then hand painted to show the detail of the design. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a lift of the brass on the left side from the original making of the piece.
