| A fine pair of 6" German 800 silver sugar tongs c1890. These tongs have a nice Rococo design with shell bowls, and they are stamped with the post-1888 German silver mark and the maker's mark for Koch & Bergfeld (est. 1859, Bremen). They weigh 22.9 grams, they have some residual gilding on the bowls, and they would be a classy addition to your table. This item is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
