| A striking and decorative oval fruit or console bowl in the Corsica pattern by Gouda (Holland). This bowl measures 11-3/8" x 10" and it stands 2-3/4" high; it has free hand painted branches with turquoise blue leaves and pink and white flowers. It is signed (hand painted, not stamped) 4419 CORSICA GOUDA HOLLAND and it has the "little house" PZH (Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland) mark as well, but no date mark (This factory operated from 1898-1964). This bowl is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, repairs or damage; one edge has slightly thinner glaze, but this is original to the manufacture of the piece - all Gouda items are hand made.
