| A simple, vintage early Victorian oval brass pocket snuff box c1840-50. This 3-3/4 x 3-1/4" snuffbox is unsigned, and it is in very good original condition with no monograms, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected signs of use through the ages (including a shallow scuff on the top); it has a great interior patina, and it shuts well, however it needs a small adjustment to get the lid to sit snugly (it has a small gap at the front). Uninsured surface shipping starts at $4.50 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $100 if paid with a credit card. We do ship internationally.
