| A superb late Victorian tortoiseshell celluloid hair backcomb with an opulent paste laden wings design c1890-1900. This hair accessory measures 5-1/4" x 3", and the white paste claw-set stones are mounted within gold plated wirework; this unsigned beauty is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of loss to the worework gilding, and all teeth of the comb are intact.
