| A most attractive vintage sterling silver Art Nouveau period brooch c1900. A flowing haired fin-du-siecle beauty, staring wistfully off, with a large poppy (a symbol of forgetfulness) beside her. It is a large brooch, measuring 2-7/16" x 2-1/4". Sterling front and back, and it is very slightly curved, as they sometimes were, to sit better on the body. It is stamped Sterling only, but is clearly a fine quality example. Original nickle pin and c-clasp, and excellent condition - no damage or repairs. A lovely example of Art Nouveau period jewellery, and guaranteed to be an original period brooch. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
