| An unsigned vintage 1920s carved and painted Bakelite and rhinestone pin. This 2-3/4 x 1-1/4" frond-shaped brooch features flashy rhinestones set into a carved and painted pale yellow mottled bakelite base. It has black painted leaves, white painted highlights and ribs and green and white dots. It has the original glued brass c-clasp, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor loss to the white highlights, the darkening of a few stones and a bit of surface corrosion on the brass pin. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
