This is a scare engraving of Robert E Lee by William Sartain circa 1865. It was published in Philadelphia. The paper measures 13 by 16+. I only found two other copies of this print for sale and both were trimmed well inside the plate mark.In remarkable fresh and clean condition.I do not think it was ever framed. It was photographed while shrink wrapped so there is ghosting on my photos. A very scarce image of Lee.
