This is a very rare [one of 2 known] ice cream set with hand painted scenes of imaginary polar exploration.Created around 1870 the scenes are derived from illustrations in Jules Verne novels by Edward Riou. The unmarked dishes are believed to have been made in France and then decorated in this country. The other set like this was featured in a article about Arctic Imagery in the February 2007 issue of the magazine Antiques on page 78...

A nice large Victorian art glass basket that shades from blue to white with a clear twisted glass handle.It has a ground pontil and is in perfect cond. 8 1/2 inches tall by 12 wide.

This is a nice bronze statue of a Borzoi by the listed artist Ugo Cipriani. It is 9 1/2 inches tall with the base and about 9 inches long. This is in excellent condition and is signed on the base.It would be circa 1920/30 vintage.Works by this artist are scarce. I found 3 bronze examples searching the net.Most of the Cipriani clan worked in stone not bronze. If you collect dog statues or Borzoi items this would be a great addition to your collection.

This is a fabulous bronze plaque by the best French Fondeur Barbedienne. It is a scene from Fontaines fables. 10 1/2 by 8 3/4 inches heavy casting fine detail. Mercie is listed in Bermans. Circa 1870's. This is pictured in Art Bronzes by Michael Wolf page 47. Shown at the Salon of 1875.

This is a great bronze statue of a prowling tiger from circa 1920.This artist is listed in the berman bronze books. The size is 7 1/2 high by 14 inches long. It has great patina with no damage to the patina.There is a small spot on the base that seems to have been filled in for some reason. We will be glad to email more pics.

This is a scarce handkerchief,bandanna,textile from the Worlds Columbian Exposition.It has never been washed or cleaned.There is some toning in the center cartouche.Size is 24 by 24

This is a fine french bronze with the seal of the exposition universal from 1889. It is 12 inches high and has fine original patina. This artist Jean Didier Debut 1824-1893 is well listed in bermans bronze books where a companion piece to this one is shown.

This is a very rare set of Girandole oil lamps from before the Civil War.They have the original Mt. Washington glass oil lamps that the prism holders were cast to fit around the neck.All the metal work is in fine condition.The prisms have some chipping I believe them to be original. The blue and pale white oil lamps have internal cracks in them and are the type of glass that have a rough surface common to this style of glass.I do not have burners for the lamps. This is a wonderful cabinet size art glass vase by the well known firm Harrach from Bohemia. It is 5 inches tall and in perfect condition. It has relief enameled orchids on 3 sides of the vase.a similar vase was sold at Dorotheum on March 8th 2012 lot 161 for 563.00 euros. Ours seems to have nicer decoration.

This is a wonderful large 26inches tall bronze by the well listed French sculptor Ernest Rancoulet. It is titled Repousser De La Renaissance and it is a figure of a Renaissance armourer at work.This is pictured in Berman's books on bronze sculpture.He also made a small version of this man as a silversmith.Little seems to be known about Rancoulet other than he was from Bordeaux...

This is a great original bronze statue of a bull by the famous french artist P.J.Mene. He is well known for his Animalier sculptures.This has a scarce greenish colored patina that is in great condition with just a few areas of slight wear as to be expected on a 125 + years old casting.Size is 5 3/4 inches tall 9 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 deep.If you collect animal or bovine subject matter this would be a great addition to your collection.

This is an interesting bronze bowl signed Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. Favrile 406. It is 8 inches across and 4 inches tall.It has an applied ship on the outside and at one time it was silverplated most of this has worn off.
