This is a great large 18 by 23 1/2 tempra water color by Maria Gianni.By far the largest work by her that we have run across.I believe this to be a view of the Amalfi coast line.It is presently in its original 1920's early 30's gold frame.It appears to be in excellent condition...

This is wonderful luminescent watercolor by the American Artist George Howell Gay 1858-1931.It depicts a fall marsh scene with birch trees.The image is about 8 by 18 1/2 and is in fine condition with great fresh looking colors...

This is another great original watercolor by the Italian artist Maria Gianni. Bright rich colors make this a joy to look at.The detail is incredible.The image is 10 by 7 1/2 with frame size of 17 by 14. This is in the original frame and matt.The picture is in ex. condition with no foxing or spots.

This is a original gouache illustration by Bill Griffith for the August 1955 issue of Sports Afield.The story was the Saga of the Red Wolf.The art is 11 by 12 1/2+ margins and has been framed in a simple wood frame 17 1/2 by 18 1/2.Picture is in good condition but has some small spots on the right side and a light one near top center.I presume it sat around for a time before being framed.Griffith worked for Sports Afield for a number of years. He did cover art and interior illustrations.

He is well listed and known for his military paintings.He did a lot of scenes of Waterloo. I am not sure if this is from there or not. The flag he is holding should be able to decide that.This painting was cleaned and laid down on another canvas quite awhile ago...

This is a large watercolor circa 1920 by Edgar PRITCHARD. This is a large 11 by 15 1/2 watercolor of a fall scene just after the sun has gone down leaving a afterglow in the sky. Colors are bright and fresh I do not think it was ever framed. We have it shrink wrapped with a creamy tan mat.I have been informed by a distant relative of Edgar Pritchard that this is by him and not by one of the English artists named Pritchard who died earlier.

It was published by Lothrop Lee and Shepard in Boston in the 20's.It seems to have been a tale of a boy or children that daydreamed up adventures.This painting shows 2 knights in a fight. Size is 21 by 12 1/2+ the original frame.Berger illustrated a number of books. He was born in 1872 and was from New York.

His watercolors have sold as high as $3000.00+. He is well known as a port and ship painter. Image is 13 by 19 1/2 with frame size is 28 by 21.
