THIS IS A NICE 1815 COPY OF THE WORLD ACCORDING TO MERCATORS PROJECTION SHOWING THE LATEST DISCOVERIES OF CAPTAIN COOK. This has wonderful original hand coloring and is 16 by 20+ a double matt.There is some separation on the fold and two small spots. Really a lovely map.

This is a Currier&Ives medium folio litho of Lincoln sold after he was shot.Matt opening is 11 by 14 1/2 + margins.The print has one small tear into the left side but not into the image. There are a few small spots in the paper but no staining or partial toning.

This is a unusual map published in 1897 from a atlas showing the gold fields in the Northwest Territories and Alaska.Size is 14 by 20 + it has been matted.Very clean condition.

This is a beautiful original photograph by Albert Steiner 1877-1965 who was one of the best Swiss photographers from the 20th century.It is titled Kapelle Bei Locarno and is pencil signed by Steiner. The photo is 9 by 11 1/2 and is on it original mount 15 1/2 by 19 inches. It is in excellent condition.Steiners photo's have been rising in value and there was a big show off his works recently.He is well listed in the art price index's.

This is a nice large format 14 by 11 hand tinted photograph of a forest in the northwestern United States. It is no. 54170 and has Asahel Curtis inscribed on the bottom of the photo. Asahel was the brother of Edward Curtis who was famous for his series of Indian Photos. This is in ex. cond.There is some glare in my picture as this is shrink wrapped and matted.

This is a wonderful very large 22 by 32 inches birds eye view of Philadelphia done as a supplement for Harper's Weekly in May 27 1876. This was a woodblock engraving that was sketched by Theodore Davis. In excellent condition with no holes tears or stains a miracle considering this was folded up in a issue of Harper's and probably sent thru the mail.

This is a unusual large allegorical chromolithograph of Young America during the Civil War.I believe he is dressed in the style of the Zouave outfits.The print is by Sarony Major & Knapp of New York who were one of the best lithography firms in the country.This litho would date to the beginnings of the civil war.It has never seen the light of day till know as we found it in a section of a large scrap book which seems to have been a job book for the Sarony co.This is a large print measuring 21 by...

A wonderful early hand colored map of California from 1855.18 by 15 in mint cond.These early maps are becoming quite hard to find.

This is a large 55 high by 5 ft wide wall map of the United States of America printed in 1853 by Colton.It is paper mounted on linen and has its original wood strips. There is some wrinkling from rolling a couple of splits and a chip of paper missing in the Gulf of Mexico. Some one put some scotch magic tape in several places mostly at the bottom...

This is a beautiful small calendar top for Edison Mazda from 1928. It was done by Maxfield Parrish.The colors are very bright and fresh having spent most of its life in a drawer.There is some crease damage on the bottom left corner.This lists in the Parrish book up to $700.00

This is a scarce old map from a early 1855 Cowperthwait atlas.It is 17 by 14. There are a couple of small spots and some light brown smudging on the right side outside of the state. Overall a nice early map.
