This is a nice original proof etching by the well known artist Joseph Pennell.It is titled Windsor From Eaton.It was sold by the famous print selling firm Frederick Keppel New York. The label states that it was a proof print pulled by the artist in 1903.I found only one other copy of this print that had sold and that was a later state than this one.This is framed in its original gold frame.There is no matt burn or discoloration. It must have spent a good part of its life tucked away.
This is a nice early water color painting American school of a group of flowers. This is extremely finely done.It is on a stiff white paper.Matt opening is 6 1/2 by 9 + margins. I found this in New England.It is whiter than my photo shows.
This is a great plate from a scarce book called THE ANCIENT COSTUME OF ENGLAND.It shows a pair of fools or jesters as the would have looked in the mid 12th century.The sheet size is 16 by 12. It is in very nice condition with i pin head size spot.This was published by Colnaghi&co in London in 1813. The original image was by Charles Smith,the engraver was I. Atkinson and the aquatinters were Havell and Hill. A very scarce image in original color.
This is a early colored lithograph of the encampment of the 25th mass infantry during the civil war.There are 3 small creases in the paper in the top edge,some toning and a couple of tiny fox spots . All in all this print is in very good condition for its age.matt opening is 12 1/2 by 16 + margins. Printed by Sarony,Major&Knapp Broadway N.Y.

This is a interesting pr of light tan colored English handled vases with enameled floral decorations and a ground top with gold trim.They are 10 inches high and 7 wide.Better quality prs. of lg. Bristol vases are getting a lot harder to find.In very nice original cond.

This is a great French poster of 15 breeds of bulls from around the turn of the century. This is a well known image that has been published in several books.E. Kapp printer Deyrolle editors. There is some wrinkling to the lower right side and a small corner missing that would mat out. Cond. b+ A really fun image. Size is 31 1/2 by 22 3/4 inches
This is a large 27 3/4 by 21 1/4 hand colored map of the roman empire dated 1794. It was done by L.Philippi and was printed by Laurie and Whittle in London.It is in superb condition but was originally folded
This is a nice pencil signed limited edition lithograph titled Swamp Land by Henry Pitz. It was issued by the Associated American Artists.Their print issues were usually done in editions of 250.The print is in excellent condition and comes with the original label. We have matted it in a off white mat.
This is a large original litho of U.S.Grant with small pics around a large viginette of him. It is 24 1/2 by 19 1/4 and was printed by Kurz&allison's art studio in chicago. There is no staining or missing parts but this was rolled at one time and shows some wrinkling mostly at top and bottom.A very presentable print and very scarce.I will be glad to send more pics.
This is an interesting bronze bowl signed Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. Favrile 406. It is 8 inches across and 4 inches tall.It has an applied ship on the outside and at one time it was silverplated most of this has worn off.
This is a nice early hand colored map of South America from Carey's 1814 atlas of the world.It is done in outline color and was originally folded. This is in great cond.with only a couple of small spots and a few nos. written in the ocean on the upper right top side. It is 22 by 17 and is matted ready for framing. Nicer than the photo shows.
