This is plate one from Alexander Wilsons American ornithology the Ist. great American bird book published from 1808 to 1814. It shows 3 well known American birds the Blue Jay,Goldfinch and the Baltimore Oriole. It was engraved by Lawson and is 13 1/2 by 9 +lg margins. For a print that is almost two hundred years old it is in excellent condition.

This is a nice painting on board titled Winter Work camp by Phil Kooser 1921-2007. It is 16 by 20 and about 20 by 24 with the frame and is dated 1975.Phil is listed in several art books and listing and has a track record of sales.He was from Yakima Washington.A nice looking painting that should go up in value over time.

This is a original watercolor or gouache by an Italian named Gianni.This was a large family that painted a lot of watercolors and gouache's of Italian scenes.This one seems to be from the teens or 20's from the style of the original frame it is in.Bought on family's Grand Tours. The size is 12 by 19 1/2 + frame.This is in bright original condition with no problems.

This is a nice watercolor painting of a coastal village by the very well listed British artist John Hamilton Glass 1820-1885. This has nice vibrant colors and is in ex.cond. Size is 9 by 14 + mat.His specialty was harbour and coastal scenes.
This is a set of 13 original conte crayon and pencil drawings by the well listed artist George Renouard 1885-1954.They are all illustrations of scenes from the Legend of Sleepy Hollow with Ichabod Crane.In addition to paintings and etchings he also worked as a graphic illustrator.Renouard was from Rochester New York and worked in New York city.We purchased these drawings at a sale of the estate of a family friend who had a large selection of Renouards works.These are not signed but we guarantee ...
This is a large watercolor circa 1920 by Edgar PRITCHARD. This is a large 11 by 15 1/2 watercolor of a fall scene just after the sun has gone down leaving a afterglow in the sky. Colors are bright and fresh I do not think it was ever framed. We have it shrink wrapped with a creamy tan mat.I have been informed by a distant relative of Edgar Pritchard that this is by him and not by one of the English artists named Pritchard who died earlier.
This is a original 1907 bronze plaque of Leo (Lyov)Tolstoi the famous Russian author by John Flanagan.It is about 7 by 5 inches and is in a oak frame that was done in 1952.The bronze plaque is in excellent condition.Flanagan worked for a time in the studio of August St.Gaudens.He did several large outdoor figures and designed the United States quarter in the 20's along with other plaques. He lived from 1865 to 1952.A great piece to put up in your library.

This is a very scarce lithograph of the origin of the great Chicago fire Oct. 8 1871. It is from a original painting by L.V.H.Crosby and was published by H.M.Kinsley in 1871. The image is 5 3/4 by 9 with wide margins and title. It is in very good condition with minor foxing. I have never seen another copy of this in my 30 years of selling prints.
This is a very striking original Travel Poster by the French National Railroad for travel in Provence. Circa 1952 we will rate it as a B because of corner chips at the top and bottom right side. They do not go into the image and could be easily fixed by a restorer. Size is 24 1/2 by 39 1/2.
This is a great poster image in ex. cond. It is 23 1/2 by 38 and I will rate it A cond.It is signed L.Polo and is printed by the famous italian publisher Ricordi of milano. It is not linen backed.There is some shadow on my photo.

This is a near mint original pre war 1941 calendar for the Great Northern Railway. It is 16 by 33 and was created by Winold Reiss.It features Calling First a Blackfeet Brave at Glacier National Park.2 very minor wrinkles at the top of this crisp near mint calendar. You will not find a better one!We even have the original tube it came in.These have been bringing up to $900.00 at New York auctions.
This is a original 1978 offset litho limited edition print no.451/600 by Richard Stone Lewis titled Forego The Great American Champion. This has never been framed and is in Excellent condition.Size of paper is 22 by 26.This artist did a large number of paintings of race horses. He passed away in 2005.Hard to find a 30 year old print that has never been framed.
