This is a scarce large 31 by 23 inch map of what was called the great west in 1848 printed by Ensign and Thayer in New York and it is from around 1848.Condition is quite good for a map printed on a thin paper stock. There is a piece of paper missing in the border of Michigan and there is some wrinkling from being rolled up at one time. There is a small water stain below the border on the bottom right that would not show if this was matted. A rare map that I guarantee to be of the period.

This is a nice Pre 1860 French bronze of a young man harvesting wheat. He most likely was a clock statue. He is in nice original condition and was cast in two sections. There is a small hole at the base of the wheat bundle which may have held another part on the statue but it does not seem like it would have needed anything else in the composition. This is 9 1/2 tall by 10 inches wide.
