This is a lovely old bronze of the Crouching Venus done by F. Barbedienne Paris.It has the Reduction Mecantique A. Collas seal.She has a lovely deep chocolate finish that is in very nice condition other than a little discoloration to the one side of the base as shown.She stands 14 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches deep.The underside shows she was cast in several parts and she has the old French Black ink inscriptions a sign of a old casting.If you like classical bronzes this is a beauty!

This is a great original Currier & Ives litho by Thomas Worth from the Darktown series titled Spoiling A Sensation The Bicycle Boy On A Bull. It is dated 1881 and the size is 13 by 17 with large probably full size margins. The condition is Excellent with just a couple of minor spots.This is in the original victorian walnut frame and glass. This is a Large 24 inch tall original bronze statue of David after the marble by Gian Bernini 1598-1680. This seems to be quite a scarce statue in bronze. We could find no auction records for this figure and could only find a Couple pictured that did not have the eagle at the base.
