This is a nice colored etching by the well listed artist and designer Leon R. Pescheret.He had a studio in Whitewater Wi. for a number of years and produced a large body of work.His etchings are in the collections of quite a few major museums.Plate size is about 9 by 12 + margins. Currently in its original 1942 silver frame which is 17 by 20. It is matted but I see no mat burns. The print is in excellent condition and color.

This is a large Chinese Export hand carved wood frame. We would date it 1820's to 1850's. Probably a type of sandalwood the out side is 44 1/2 by 33 inches the inner rabbit is 35 3/4 by 23 5/8th inches. The wood is about 3/4th inches thick. The carving on this is incredible. All 4 sides have different scenes carved in them. The top has 8 figures planting crops. the sides each have groups of 5 in a garden below a temple with another figure in it...
