| This is a set of 3 hand hammered vases designed and made by Laurits Christian Eichner 1894-1967.He was a high end craftsman who worked in Silver Pewter Brass and other mediums.He was born in Denmark and lived in New Jersey. There was a retrospective show on his work at the Smithsonian in 1971.They produced a 60 page catalog for the show but it is hard to find.He made models and scientific instruments for the Smithsonian among other things.All three vases are signed with a crown cartouche and his name.All 3 are in fine condition with no dents or scratches.The large vase is 10 inches wide by 5 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches across. The 2 small vases are 6 7/8 inches wide 3 1/2 tall and 2 3/4 wide.I could find almost nothing of Eichner's that has sold on the internet.So this is a rare opportunity to own a set of his work! | ||
