| This is a nice original 1851 engraving titled Mexican News by Richard Caton Woodville.It was done for the Art Union Lottery which put out a engraving yearly during its existence.The image is 18 1/4 by 20 1/2 + large margins. We have it matted to 23 by 26 inches.The image is in very nice clean condition. The only flaw is a small wrinkle in the paper near the M in the lower border.This seems to have been done in the original printing of the engraving.A hard to find print and even harder to find in nice condition.I only found a couple other copies on line and they are asking much more than ours is. | ||
