This is a original Lithograph by the well listed artist George Ford Morris 1873-1960. He Concentrated almost solely upon the art of the horse, He was a frequent contributing artist to such publications as ' The American Horseman ', ' Breeder's Gazette ', ' American Field ', ' National Horseman' and ' Thoroughbred of California '. He also illustrated for national publications such as ' Scribner's ' and ' Century' magazines'.This print was titled Green Pastures when sold thru the Associated American Artists. I believe this was done outside that limited edition as it has the horses name inscribed and also has a pencil date and copyright symbol in pencil which the AAA prints do not have.Perhaps a proof. Image is 9 by 12 and paper is 12 by 16. Currently well framed in a double mat with non glare glass. There is a label from a Kentucky frame shop. The print is in perfect condition. This has sold as high as $850.00 at auction.
