| This is a fabulous bronze plaque by the best French Fondeur Barbedienne. It is a scene from Fontaines fables. 10 1/2 by 8 3/4 inches heavy casting fine detail. Mercie is listed in Bermans. Circa 1870's. This is pictured in Art Bronzes by Michael Wolf page 47. Shown at the Salon of 1875. | ||
