| This is a scarce large format 26 by 20 chromolithograph done in 1885 by the L. Prang co. Boston. It is titled Grant from West Point to Appomattox.There are 2 creases about 6 inches long, one going across Grants forehead and one in the bottom center picture.Other than that this print is in fine shape with no stains or soiling. I do not think it was ever framed. A striking and scarce large print of U.S. Grant by the best print maker of the time. | ||
