| "Espejo Barroco" was featured in the Phaidon publication "One Hundred Photographs: A Collection by Bruce Bernard" Mr.Bernard (1928-2000) began his artistic career training as a painter going on to make his name as a photographer, picture editor and writer. Tom Austin, writing for the Miami Herald, September 2, 2007, said this image was "a seminal photograph from Algaze's endless travels through Latin America." It was taken inside a funeral home in Otavalo, Ecuador in 1988. | ||||||
