| This elegant 10" Meissen cabinet plate has a hand painted painting of a rooster in beautiful colors. The wide reticulated border is also picked out in lustrous colors and gold. The plate is a factory second but I am sure it was decorated at the factory. I do not know the reason for the second. The condition is excellent - no repairs, cracks, chips or flaws. This is a real treasure! I have also posted the mate to this so a pair is possible. The plate dates circa 1880. | ||
