Circa 1870 Chinese Export Pair of Rose Canton Covered Dressing Jars 2 1/8" in height and 1 3/4" in diameter. This is a very unusual pair of dressing jars. Chinese Export dressing jars are made in usually five different sizes. We usually have them in rose medallion and rose mandarin but rarely in rose canton. The difference is that in rose canto there are no people. One of the jars is decorated with green plants, leaves and bushes with pink decorated flowers...

Circa 1860-1880 Chinese Export Blue Canton Syllabub Cup with cover. The earlier syllabubs had a strawberry finial and this round finial and plain handle denotes that this was made around C.1880. Circa 1780 Chinese Export Tea Bowl with a monogrammed initial with streamers and two hearts. This is lowenstoft, as Elinor would say. A tea bowl measuring 3 1/2" in diameter andv 1 7/8" in depth. The outside border is 80% rubbed off from handling over the past 200 years. The border on the inside is decorated with blue stars with a goldish swag that is not worn too badly...

Circa 1770 Pair of Chinese Export cups decorated in blue and gold border around the top rim and the gold is circled around a american landscape scene that is absolutely beautiful. The blue and white border at the top of the cups is also wonderful. These cups measure 2 3/4" in height and the top opening is 2 5/8" in diameter. One of the cups has lost it's handle but that does not detract from their beauty, All it does is reduce the selling price.

Circa 1830 Tucker & Hemphill of Philadelphia Transfer cup and saucer with a romantic couple on one side. This deep saucer is 5" in diameter and 1" in depth.
