Pre-columbian Chancay Coca Textile bag from Peru, ca. 1100-1450 A.D. Some tears which is expected but otherwise complete and excellent color.

Pre-columbian Costa Rican vessel, ca. 900-1200 A.D. Decorated with a band of step design patter. The bottom has a row of raised spikes. A v shaped piece missing off the rim of the vessel otherwise intact.

Measurements: 4-7/16" in height x 5-3/16" in diameter.

Pre-columbian Maya Copador bowl from El Salvador, ca. 600-900 A.D. There are 5 seated Chief figures and a pair of "speaking" glyphs around the outside and turkey vultures and the cardinal directions glyph on the inside. Glued and repaired from several original fragments but complete. One figure looks like it was re-touched with some paint. A very nice bowl with strong vibrant color.

Measurements: 3" in height x 5-11/16" in diameter.

Pre-columbian Maya bowl from El Salvador, ca.600-900 A.D. Painted in Red, black and ochre pigments. A band of Maya faces in profile around the bowl. Broken and glued from several fragments but complete. Measurements: 3-11/16" in height x 5-3/8" in width.

Pre-columbian Maya gourd vessel from Guatemala, ca.600-900 A.D. Two rim chips otherwise intact.

Measurements: 7" in Height x 9-1/2" in diameter.

Pre-columbian Costa Rican Plainware vessel, ca. 1-700 A.D. Seems to me this piece can be a depiction of a mace head or the protruding spikes can represent the ceiba tree. Choice Condition.

Measurements: 4-15/16" in height.

Pre-columbian Ocarina whistle from Costa Rica, ca. 300 B.C.- 500 A.D. The whistle is in the form of a head with incised decoration on top of it's head most likely indicative of hair. Choice condition.

Measurements: 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/2 in Diameter.

Pre-columbian Maya Head fragment from Guatemala, ca. 600-900 A.D. This superb fragment depicts the rain god, Tlaloc. Fragmentary condition.

Measurements: 3-1/4" in height

Pre-columbian Maya Tripod bowl from El Salvador, ca. 600-900 A.D. The bowl is painted in Black, orange and red with geometric patterns and Quetzalcoatl depicted as a serpent. The bowl is seated on three rectangular feet. A very nice example. Some paint loss, small chip to one leg and a pressure crack down one side of the bowl otherwise intact.

Measurements: 2" in Height x 5-11/16" in Diameter.

Pre-columbian Maya bowl from Honduras/El Salvador, ca. 600-900 A.D. Painted in black and red/orange with geometric patterns and a bird motif. The bottom is painted with a cross pattern. A small chip on the rim and some paint loss otherwise intact. Measurements: 2-3/4" in height x 7-7/8" in Diameter.

A pre-columbian Maya bowl from the Peten region of Guatemala, ca. 600-900 A.D. The bowl is decorated with a black step design and geometric pattern. The inside and bottom of the bowl are decorated with red circles around the edge. A nice example!

A very nice Pre-columbian Nayarit shaft tomb figure from west Mexico, ca. 100 B.C.-250 A.D. depicting a seated obese figure on a stool. This interesting fellow squats with arms curving and meeting at the waist, the legs slightly bent before him as he is supported on a short rounded leg beneath the buttocks, probably indicative of a short stool. The wonderful face is decorated with a faded black painted section on the right side , and he wears a large curving mushroom shaped cap and ear ornaments. The backside is shaped in an abnormal round form, possibly depicting an aged resting man or a hunchback. Excellent, undamaged condition with only some light surface hairlines else fine.
